Issue/Introduction

When a Clarity upgrade is performed, a screen with the "End-User License Agreement" (EULA) appears. The user must accept the EULA terms before the installation upgrade can continue.  Does the end user license agreement (EULA) supersede the written master agreement signed between a customer and Broadcom?

Resolution

If there is a conflict or inconsistency between the EULA and the master written agreement, the master written agreement supersedes the EULA. The EULA that displays when installing CA PPM contains CA third party license notices, statements of ownership and copyright. If the customer has specific questions or concerns with the EULA, technical support can put the customer in touch with the Broadcom corporate legal department.

Once the EULA has been accepted, the EULA popup will no longer appear in subsequent logins to the CA PPM System Administration (CSA) application. If the user would like to view the EULA at a later date after it has been accepted, it can be viewed at the page "nsa.EulaActions.showEula".

1. Log into your CSA <clarityserver>

2. Update the URL to show the EULA page by changing the 'action' :  action=nsa.EulaActions.showEula
