SiteMinder HTTP headers (like SM_USER, SM_AUTHREASON, etc..) are showing up as null in http header dump page for Sun one (iPlanet) web server 6.0SP11. The same headers are showing up with proper values for 6.1 and 7.0 versions of the Sun one web server. The web agent was configured with default parameters in Agent Config Object (ACO) in both tests. R12 QMR1 CR2 is the web agent version on Solaris 10 system.

Sun Java System web servers, by default, provide the HTTP header variables in lower-case. Agent Configuration Object parameter LowerCaseHTTP specifies whether the Web Agent uses uppercase or lowercase HTTP headers. In this case, to get the lower case http header variables, this parameter need to be set to Yes. Setting LowerCaseHTTP parameter to YES resolves this issue.
