Issue/Introduction

Description

The ACF2/CICS ACFM transaction can be used to display the current MINI-LID that is being used for the CTS/CICS region. The ACFM transaction is a menu-driven transaction that performs functions ranging from HELP tutorials to executing standard CA-ACF2 functions such as modifying system options, reloading system and user directories, and maintaining access rules and resource rules and displaying current system options.

Mini-lids allow for ACF2 logonid compression to be used in the MUSASS (Multi-User, Single Address Space System) environment to reduce virtual storage requirements. Logonid compression eliminates unused or unnecessary information from the resident logonid record.

Solution

The ACF2/CICS ACFM transaction, SD-CICS Interface System Status Display Function E for environment will display mini-lid currently in use by the ACF2/CICS protected region along with the other Environ function fields.

The syntax is: ACFM SD E to display the CICS|CTS region's mini-lid specification.
