Issue/Introduction

Description:

This document explains why the installation of iGateway 4.5 on HP-UX may fail with the error
         Sanity Test failed, Exiting with Error code:1

Solution:

During the installation of iGateway4.5, the max_thread_proc kernel parameter is checked by the installation script.
The maximum number of threads per process (max_thread_proc) must be set to a minimum of 324.

If the value of this kernel parameter is less than 324, the following error appears:

Sanity Test failed, Exiting with Error code:1

Use the SAM utility to increase the kernel parameter to a minimum of 324.
