Issue/Introduction

Description:

It may desirable to prevent users from modifying their scoreboards.

Solution:

To prevent users from modifying their scoreboard, alter their Access Type.

  1. Login to ServiceDesk as Administrator

  2. Go to Administration->Access Types->Select the access type you want to restrict. See Fig 1

  3. In the Access Type detail, go to Function Access tab and click on Edit. See Fig 2

  4. Under Function Access tab, change the setting for Admin to None. See Fig 3

    This removes the item from the user's File menu.
