How do I stop and restart the Web Reporter Database, WRDB?

Issue/Introduction

You can stop and restart the WRDB on the SRM machine, before adding the SRM server again in the Web Reporter Control Panel.

Environment

BRMAPS20100-11.7-Storage Resource Manager-Application Server

Resolution

To stop and start WRDB

1. Navigate to the SRM Bin folder from the command line.
   
   
2. Execute the following commands to stop and restart WRDB.exe.
   To stop WRBD
   wrdbController.exe stop
   To start WRDB
   wrdbController.exe start You can locate this executable file in x:\..\BrightStor SRM\bin folder.

Example:

C:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor SRM\bin>wrdbController.exe start
C:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor SRM\bin>wrdbController.exe stop

Note: WRDB is dependent on BOS agent; hence whenever you stop or restart BOS, system automatically performs similar operation on WRDB also.
