Issue/Introduction

Description:

After the upgrade of the DB2 subsystem to V8, the start of the Xmanager started task encounters a S13E abend. The active load module is PDTDIVC8. The Xmanager log reflects the message: PDT0216 DYNAMIC COLLECTION S13E ABEND INCURRED/TERMINATION FORCED

Solution:

There have been similar problems reported when IBM's Query Monitor (QM) is present and active on the system at the same time as Xmanager and Detector. It is advised to bring down IBM QM, recycle your DB2 environments, and then bring up Xmanager and Detector.
