Following error message was reported when running a report from the WAM UI:
"The report connection server settings are invalid. Unable to continue."
JBoss server.log shows there is an error with the connection to business object:
"ERROR [com.ca.ims.reporting.bo.utils.BOInfoviewUtils] Error in BOInfoviewUtils.login()"
In the report server configuration on the WAM UI, IP Address of the report server was given.
WAM UI was reporting connection error because the IP Address of the report server has no DNS (Domain Name Server) entry. After adding the DNS entry in the network settings, the connection worked well.
