How to populate sample Knowledge tool data in CA Service Desk Manager.

Sample Knowledge data from Knowledge Broker and Knowledge Accelerators is provided for your use. If you decide you want to use the sample Knowledge data you must import the data into the CA Service Desk Knowledge Tools database. Follow the instructions outlined below to do so.

Windows installation

1. Go to $NX_ROOT\samples\data and unzip SampleData.zip into the same directory.
   
   
2. From the command window, go to $NX_ROOT/bin and run ImportSampleData.bat.

UNIX installation

1. Run the command tar -xvf SampleData.tar from $NX_ROOT/samples/data.
   
   
2. From the command window, go to $NX_ROOT/bin and run ImportSampleData.sh.
