Cannot search objects in AdminUI based on their Description

Issue/Introduction

In AdminUI, we are unable to search some objects based on their Description, while we can search them only by their Name. This happens with almost all the objects like Domains, ACOs, Rules, Responses, User Directories, etc...

On the contrary we have also an older R12.0 SP3 AdminUI in which we are able to do that.

Environment

AdminUI R12.51

Resolution

This is a known issue in R12.51 and R12.52 releases, which is fixed in R12.52 SP1 release:

 - Missing Description Option for Search on Domains, Realms, Rules, and Responses (166526)

 

To solve this issue you need to upgrade to R12.52 SP1 GA version or higher
