How to resolve the error "Connection or SQL sentence error. (DA0005);Exception:DBD [directdata][open access odbc]AHD12031: Invalid date literal" when running Desktop Web Intelligence report.

Solution

This error occurs if the Date range values were not configured. To resolve this error, configure the date range values so the date range filters in CA Business Intelligence work correctly as mentioned in page 118 Implementation Guide for Service Desk R12.
