How to remove the QMSG prefix from Store and Forward events?

Issue/Introduction

Description:

Events sent to the Console Log by Store and Forward are given a "QMSG..." prefix. Is there a way to remove the this prefix and forward the events to the Console Log with a format that can set off existing Message Records?

Solution:

To remove the QMSG prefix and forward events to the Console Log

1. Create a new Message Record to look for all Store and Forward (SAF) events using the following Message ID: QMSG*
   
   
2. To strip out the QMSG Prefix and send the event back to the Console Log, create an EVALUATE action.
   
   
3. Enter the following in the text field of an EVALUATE action to strip out the first three words of the original incoming event: &(4:)
   
   The resulting text sent to the Console will be identical to the original event before it was captured by SAF. Because an EVALUATE action was used, this text can be used to set off other Message Records.

Note: If a DISCARD action was associated with this Message Record, then the incoming QMSG event would not be logged.
