How do you verify that Datacom/AD and CA 11 have initialized successfully and that communications between the products has been established?

To confirm that Datacom/AD has completely initialized, check the Datacom/AD JESLOG for the following message which indicates that the execution of the startup has successfully initiated the Multi-User Facility (MUF):
DB00201I MULTI-USER ENABLED CXX=cxxname SUBID=x (SVC=yyy) xx
If using XCF to allow CA 11 (or other Broadcom applications) on other LPARs within the SYSPLEX to communicate to Datacom/AD, you will see the following message which indicates that XCF support is active:
DB00226I MULTI-USER ACTIVATED XCF SUPPORT (grpname)
If using CCI to allow CA 11 (or other Broadcom applications) outside of a SYSPLEX environment to communicate to Datacom/AD you will see the following message which indicates that communication with the CAICCI system xxxxxxxx was successfully initiated :
DB00222I MULTI-USER ACTIVATED CCI SUPPORT (xxxxxxxx)
Once CA 11 is initialized you will see the following message in the CA 11 started task JESLOG message file:
U11D-0200-1 CA-11 DBAS INITIALIZATION COMPLETE
Prior to this initialization message for CA 11 you may also see the following message:
U11D-8000-18 CONNECTED TO CA-DATACOM INT r15.1 .... TYPE=AD
This message indicates the Datacom/AD release and maintenance level CA-11 is connected to.
