Issue/Introduction

Description

Whenever you run any report containing more than 5000 records, the Infoview displays only the first 5000 records and displays an alert showing Partial results as shown in the figure below. To enable viewing of the complete report of the managed object, you need to perform some settings in the BusinessObjects designer.

Solution

To view the complete report

  1. Open the BusinessObjects designer

  2. Click File, File Import and select Universe.

    The Universe is successfully imported.

  3. Click File, Parameters.

    The Universe Parameters dialog opens.

  4. Click the Control tab.

  5. Clear all the check boxes or modify the values as per your requirements.

  6. Save the settings.

  7. Click File, File Export and select the Universe.

    The Universe is successfully exported with the above changes you have made.
