Issue/Introduction

When is the PSWD-VIO field in the ACF2 logonid record reset to zero?

Environment

Release:
Component: ACF2MS

Resolution

If a user enters an incorrect password, ACF2 will compare the current date to the date in the PSWD-DAT field (this is the date of the last invalid password). If it is the same date, ACF2 will increment the PSWD-VIO counter by one. If the date is different, then ACF2 will change the PSWD-VIO counter to one. The only way the PSWD-VIO will ever show zero is when an administrator does a change to the value: CHANGE logonid PSWD-VIO(0).
