How to uninstall CCS if it remains installed after DSM is uninstalled?

After DSM is uninstalled CCS remains in place as it is a shared component that may be used by other CA applications. Sometimes, if we want to perform a clean reinstallation, this may be a inconvenient.


In order to uninstall CCS from the computer run the following command from a DOS command prompt windows located at

C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CA_APPSW:
tngrmvex /P "CA Common Services"  

This will open a dialog which will let you choose to perform an 'Express' or 'Custom' uninstall. Select 'Express' to remove all CCS components or 'Custom' to select the CCS components to uninstall.
