Issue/Introduction

Reference IBM's MVS Initialization and Tuning Reference manual in the chapter for SCHEDxx, under PPT. This discusses how NOPASS and NOPASS_ALLOWBATCH can bypass security protection. PASS is the default.

Resolution

CA ACF2 does not honor NOPASS. Neither NOPASS (nor NOPASS_ALLOWBATCH) allow the program to bypass CA ACF2 security.
