Registration failed: Unknown error 127 when running nete-wa-config.sh

Issue/Introduction

When trying to register a webagent with nete-wa-config.sh the message "Registration failed: Unknown error 127" is returned.

When trying to use smreghost to register a webagent "error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" is returned.

Cause

This problem often occurs when compat-libstdc++ is incompatible with the architecture of the hosting server; for example, when a 32bit version of compat-libstdc++ is installed on a 64 bit server.

Resolution

This problem is corrected by obtaining and installing the correct compat-libstdc++ RPM for your server.
