Issue/Introduction

Description:

This document will describe the steps to force CAIRIM/CAS9 to reissue AUTOCMDS.

Solution:

A special CAIRIM option, AUTOCMDS, can be used on the START command to intentionally cause CAIRIM to reissue AUTOCMDS, if necessary. The following example shows a system console START command:

START CAS9,,,AUTOCMDS
In the above statement AUTOCMDS is the option that forces CAS9 to reissue all the commands in the auto commands DD statement.

Important! Before using this option, make certain you want this to occur.
The AUTOCMDS option may create problems due to duplicate started tasks.
