Issue/Introduction

Description:

The version of MDB used by ITCM r12 is 1.5 and the version of MDB used by USRD/CMDB r11.2 is 1.0.4. This does not allow SQL bridge configuration.

Solution:

To resolve this, upgrade the USRD/CMDB MDB from version 1.0.4 to 1.5.

Run the ITCM r12 installer on USRD/CMDB MDB server and click choose the "Install MDB" setup option which will upgrade the MDB and create the 'ca_itrm' database user.

Note: Make sure to enable the 'Compatibility Mode' option which would install all tables and just not DSM tables for compatibility with other CA products.

Once the upgrade is complete, verify the MDB version by running the following SQL query:

Select * from mdb_version

The result should show as below:

You should now be able to use the SQL Bridge between ITCM R12 and USRD/CMDB R11.2.
