Issue/Introduction

Question:

Is there a way to limit which special characters can be used in a new password?

Answer:

Use the PASSCHAR control option in CA Top Secret to add, replace, or remove characters from the password valid character list.
This control option extends beyond what CA Top Secret normally accepts. To not have any special characters beyond what CA Top Secret normally accepts, do not use the PASSCHAR control option.

Additional Information:

Please see the CA Top Secret Control Options guide for more information on the PASSCHAR control option.
