Issue/Introduction

When scanning a file in a folder on a Linux server for the File Age, it shows that the file is 17177 days old.

We have restarted the probe several times, but not showing up correctly.

The File Age could be any very large number depending on todays date.
yourprofile_name: /your/directory/name/test file age 17177 days, expected <= 1 days (datasetname)

Environment

UIM 8.x or later

Cause

In the dirscan.cfg somehow "On Creation Time" for that file was turned on.
This kind of parameter is not available on unix/linux environment, only on windows.

Resolution

Turn off "On Creation Time" using raw configure for dirscan (ctrl + right click in IM in dirscan probe)

Go to watchers

yourprofile_name

age_condition

Finally edit "usercreationtime" and change to No

Apply and restart the probe.
