The affected users are on a different network and recently there was a change in their firewall to access Clarity. The issue is only with OBS lookup; the user is able to browse resource or other custom lookups in Clarity. Sometimes when they select the OBS lookup the user sees the following:
This is a WebLogic message and not from Clarity (which reuses connections). It is a known WebLogic bug (CR220685) with the following explanation:
WebLogic Server no longer retries using a new connection when the following are all true:
Idempotent is set to OFF.
A recycled connection is being used.
The backend server is not responsive.
The customer needs to contact WebLogic to remedy this problem.
