Executing EZTCOM with NEWFUNC set to NO executes as NEWFUNC set to YES.

Issue/Introduction

 

When the R11.x option file has NEWFUNC set to No and EZTCOM is being executed, statistics do not show that the program is run in compatibility mode.

 

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.x

Resolution

 

Executing EZT or EZTCOM invokes the new, strictly r11.x modules.
Executing EZTPA00, contains the logic to determine whether the 6.4 or r11.x compiler is called based on the NEWFUNC option.
Executing EZT or EZTCOM will always result as a hard-coded EZT 11.x job. It takes NEWFUNC out of the picture.

Please Note:
It is best to execute EZTPA00 as in past releases of Easytrieve. instead of EZT or EZTCOM. Future releases may not have the functionality included to execute EZT or EZTCOM.
