The CA Asset Portfolio Management to CA Software Asset Manager - APM to SAM integration is not working. Event service throws this error: Error in deserializing body of reply message for operation 'get_data_sources'

Issue/Introduction

The APM to SAM integration is not happening.  

The Event service throws this error:  Error in deserializing body of reply message for operation 'get_data_sources'. System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (1, 660). ---> System.InvalidCastException: Cannot assign object of type System.Int32 to an object of type System.String.

Environment

CA Asset Portfolio Management 14.1CA Software Asset Manager 3.6.5 or below

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in CA Asset Portfolio Management 14.1, C3 + T57T072 and above. 

If you are using CA Software Asset Manager 3.6.5 or lower, then also upgrade to the latest CA SAM 4.1 release.
