Issue/Introduction

Description:

Message C1G0259E NO ESD RECORD FOUND IN DATASET SPECIFIED issued when footprinting, and also possibly a loop when writing out the IDENTIFY statements comprising the footprint

Solution:

If you are trying to footprint an assembler object module, which was assembled with the GOFF parameter (General Object File Format), please be advised that footprinting this type of file is not currently supported. You will need to remove the FOOTPRNT=CREATE clause from the DD statement pointing to the output object dataset. This functionality is currently being investigated by the development team.

Please be advised that the message C1G0259E NO ESD RECORD FOUND IN DATASET SPECIFIED is issued when footprinting, and also possibly a loop when writing out the IDENTIFY statement comprising the footprint.
