Alter or delete of a Power queue entry results in a AEYH Abend on any CICS release or on CICS/TS in a AEYQ or AEY9 Abend.

Issue/Introduction

Description:

You have installed CA RAPS into a new CICS. Displaying Power queue members is working fine, but an Alter or Modify results in an abend (AEYH, AEYQ or AEY9) of the RAPS transaction.
This happens on RAPS-1010, RAPS-1020 and RAPS-1030 panels.

Messages:
Transaction 'RAPS' encountered a 'AEYH' abend executing 
at 'A002'.  This occurred at offset X'??????' in program
'CAPRTPM0'.   Program 'CAPRTPM0' starts at X'009BD190'. 
or
DFHAC2206 time cicsname Transaction RAPS has failed with abend AEY9. Resource backout was successful.

Solution:

AEYH Abend: The most likely reason is that the CAPRDCT Copybook is missing in the CICS DCT table.

AEYQ and AEY9 Abend on CICS/TS:
Please double-check that the CICS DCT table has been assembled using the correct CICS-library and not PRD2.CICSOLDP for CICS 2.3.

Once the CICS DCT table has been assembled using the correct CICS-library in the search-chain and including the CAPRDCT copybook, the CICS needs to be cycled.

Another possibility is that a wrong DCT suffix has been specified in the CICS SIT table.
