APAS Insight Monitor for Adabas PLEU

Issue/Introduction

Description:

This document explains how the column spacing can be changed globally using the COLSPC GLOBALS parameter or for just a single CA APAS report using the SF format parameter.

Solution:

The default number of spaces between columns in a CA APAS report is one (1) space. The spacing between columns for all reports generated by CA APAS can be changed by specifying COLSPC in the CA APAS GLOBALS with the desired number of spaces.

For example, if 2 spaces are needed, then specify:
COLSPC=2

The GLOBALS COLSPC value or default value can be overridden in individual requests by specifying the SF format parameter in an EXTRACT or SUMMARIZE request.

For example, if 3 spaces are needed, then specify:
APASEXT: EXTRACT (SF=3)

See the CA APAS Writing Requests manual for more information and examples.
