Description

Error message @ECAP008S BC1PCPS1 COMMUNICATION ERROR - SEND COMMAND FAILED 006 RECEIVER NOT FOUND may be issued when attempting to initialize the CAP spawned tasks.

Solution

If a CAP job receives an ECAP008S error message during execution; even if some spawned tasks were already initialized; the CAICCI communication request return code and message error may help you to find the root cause of the error. For example, if you get message "@ECAP008S BC1PCPS1 COMMUNICATION ERROR - SEND COMMAND FAILED 006 RECEIVER NOT FOUND" the CCI error description tells you the error occurred when the job sent a request to the communication server. The CCI return code 006 means the communication request was not successful because the Receiver was not found.

This can occur if the CAIENF task is experiencing problems or is not active, therefore the problem should be investigated on the CAIENF side by your site's internal CA90s support personnel.
