Issue/Introduction

When a CICS region is started with RLS initializing in it, the following error message is received:

TSS9410E UNKNOWN CLASSNAME (SUBSYSNM) FOR SVC (RACHECK ).

Resolution

The SUBSYSNM resource class needs to be defined to the RDT in Top Secret via:

TSS ADD(RDT) RESCLASS(SUBSYSNM) RESCODE(xx) ACLST(ALL,READ,NONE)

Then own the resource and permit it to the CICS region acid via:

TSS ADD(dept) SUBSYSNM(cicsappl) 
TSS PER(region acid) SUBSYSNM(cicsappl) ACC(READ)
