Issue/Introduction

Description:

RCM r12.0 Client tools has a known issue during installation. This issue causes the UUID component to not work. It generates empty an index file. The reason is that the installer fails to copy one jar file (xstream-1.2.2.jar) to the destination location (typically C:\Program Files\CA\RCM\Client Tools\Software\UUID\lib).

Solution:

Please locate this missing jar (xstream-1.2.2.jar) manually from the client tools open source libraries CD's. If you have a download this will be in CA-RCM-12.0-Client-Tools-Open-Source.zip

Copy it to <Drive>:\Program Files\CA\RCM\Client Tools\Software\UUID\lib

This issue will be fixed in r12.5.
