How much longer will CA Easytrieve Plus Release 6.4 be supported?

Issue/Introduction

Description:

CA Easytrieve Plus release 6.4 0311 became GA November 2003.
Is there a possibility that CA Easytrieve Plus release 6.4 0311 will not be supported in the near future?

Solution:

We recommend upgrading to release 11.6 as it is the most current release and has new functionality. There is no urgency to upgrade as CA Easytrieve Plus release 6.4 0311 is still supported at this time as well as release 11.5 and release 11.6. There is not a drop support date for CA Easytrieve Plus 6.4 0311 right now. When Release 12 becomes GA, then release 6.4 will still be supported 12 - 18 months after R12 is released.
