RACF Librarian External Security involving SMF records.

Issue/Introduction

We have created a RACF resource class of CA@IBMEM with profiles for all of our Librarian master files. The problem we are having is that successful updates to one of the master files is not generating a SMF record stating that RACF approved the request. Why? The other two master files are fine.

Resolution

The CA@SNCCF profile for the master file was granting access to the librarian file before RACF checked the CA@IBMEM profile.
Delete the CA@SNCCF profile in order for RACF to check the CA@IBMEM profile to produce the SMF records.
