Issue/Introduction

Description:

Receiving message TSS7150A SPECIFY PASSWORD FOR STC=SYSVIEW ACID=SYSVIEW when SYSVIEW is started.

Solution:

Since the TSS7150A message is occurring when SYSVIEW is started, it is indicating that the SYSVIEW acid has a password. Set OPTIONS(4) in the CA Top Secret parameter file and recycle CA Top Secret.

It is recommended that all started task ACIDs be given a password and OPTIONS(4) be set in the CA Top Secret parameter file. With OPTIONS(4) set, there will not be a password check when the started task starts, but if a user tries to signon with the started task acid, the user will need to supply the password. (OPTIONS(4) requires a recycle of CA Top Secret to pick up. It can NOT be set with a TSS MODIFY command.)
