Is the userid/password stored in CA-TPX for ACL script used, encrypted? What is the encryption algorithm used?

Issue/Introduction

Description:

The password is not stored in the CA-TPX ADMIN2 file but it is stored encrypted in memory in the UINDEX control block.

Solution:

CA-TPX uses its own encrypt/decrypt mechanism. The encrypt/decrypt algorithm used is proprietary. Customer can implement their own algorithm by using the CA-TPX provided encrypt/decrypt exit TPXUENDE, see CA-TPX System Programmer's Guide for details.
