Issue/Introduction

When submitting a job that just does a "TSS LIST" on user ACIDs, the following message appears:

IKJ56644I NO VALID TSO USERID, DEFAULT USER ATTRIBUTES USED

There is a "USER=" parameter in the job control statements referring to a user ACID that is different from the submitter.

What does that message mean? How can it be stopped?

Environment

Release:
Component: AWAGNT

Resolution

When running TSS commands in batch, the program executing is IKJEFT01, which is a TSO program.

The message indicates the ACID could not be identified as a valid TSO user, so the default user attributes are used. CA Top Secret is not the one issuing the IKJ56644I message. It is TSO.

To stop the message:

  1. TSS ADD(acid) FACILITY(TSO)  where 'acid' is the ACID the batch job is running under.

  2. And a TSO segment to the acid which the job is running.

Once the ACID has FACILITY (TSO) and a TSO segment, it is then a valid TSO user and the IKJ56644I message is not issued.
