How can I alter configuration to reduce the number of messages going to the syslog?

Resolution

We need to reduce the number of UUJMA messages going to the syslog, how can this be done.

Alter the entry in the syslog configuration from *.info to *.none

For example:

  vi /etc/syslog.conf 
  change 
  *.info $CAIGLBL0000/opr/config/pipe/oprpipe... 
  to 
  *.none $CAIGLBL0000/opr/config/pipe/oprpipe... 

Then stop and restart the agent.
