How to increase the character limit in the resolution field of a CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) Knowledge Document

When the characters in resolution field field of a CA SDM Knowledge Document are more than 32768, it shows the below message/error:

By default, the maximum number of characters allowed is 32768. However, you may increase this value up to 256000 by performing the following steps:

1.  Login to CA Service Desk Manager as an Administrator.

2.  Go to Administration tab -> Knowledge -> Document -> Document settings.

3.  At the right hand side, change the value of "Maximum number of characters allowed in Resolution field" from 32768 to 256000

4.  Click on Save.

Now you should be able to input up to 256000 characters in the resolution field of a CA SDM Knowledge Document.
