When I do a TSO, ACF SHOW PROGRAMS, it displays: "-- TAPE BYPASS LABEL PROGRAMS/LIBRARIES -- NONE SPECIFIED". What does Tape BYPASS LABEL PROGRAMS/LIBRARIES refer to?
The "TAPE BYPASS LABEL PROGRAMS/LIBRARIES" that is displayed when doing a TSO, ACF, SHOW PROGRAMS command corresponds to the GSO BLPPGM record.
The GSO BLPPGM record defines the programs and associated libraries that are authorized to use tape bypass label processing (BLP). The GSO BLPPGM allows for the specification of a LIBRARY, a fully qualified name of the library where the programs you specify in the PGM parameter reside, and PGM which can define up to 256 program names.
The TSO, ACF, SHOW PROGRAMS command displays the GSO BLPPGM, the GSO LOGPGM, the GSO MAINT Record, and GSO PPGM Record settings.
