Issue/Introduction

Description:

The resource ID can be changed after receiving an error on Resource Properties for Financially enabled resources. This should not be allowed as it can cause the ID's to be different among the resource tables. This impacts data integrity for all transactions entered after the ID is changed.

Steps to Recreate:

1. Using a financially activated resource, access the resource properties page.
   
   
2. Note: the resource id is read only.
   
   
3. Cause an error on the page by clearing a required field then hit the save button.
   
   
4. You will get a system error.
   
   
5. Edit the resource id.
   
   
6. Save.

Actual Results: You can edit and save the field. The database will now have these 2 fields out of sync. This can potentially cause all sorts of financial and reporting problems.

Expected Results: You should not be allowed to edit the field.

Solution:

WORKAROUND:

Don't change the ID value even if the system allows you to.
