Issue/Introduction

Description:

If the CAS9 job fails with the error, CAS9105E - INITIALIZATION ERROR - DYNAMIC PRODUCT INITIALIZATION ABORTED, the likely cause is that the common loadlib (CAILIB) is defined as a PDS/E. The current release of CAIRIM (r1.0) does not support PDS/E format load libraries. Support for PDS/E will be available in the next CAIRIM release.

Solution:

If the common loadlib (i.e. CAILIB) is defined as a PDS/E, you will need to:

  1. Change the CA Common Services CAILIB dataset organization from PDS/E to PDS.

  2. If necessary, change the //STEPLIB DD in the CAS9 JCL to reference the correct dataset name.

  3. Re-run the CAS9 job.
