Issue/Introduction

Description:

You have downloaded the PAX file to your USS HFS file system and trying to unpax it with the pax -rvf command you get a message :

pax: checksum error on tape (got ccd3, expected 0)

Solution:

Check if your HFS file system still has enough free space left to store the files.
You should also check your syslog for messages: "IOEZ00551I Aggregate OMVZ.USERx.yyy2 ran out of space."
