Issue/Introduction

The Health Checker for Common Services has been installed and the load library containing the associated modules has been added to the system linklist.  How can it be determined that the Health Checker for Common Services has been activated on the system?

Resolution

The following message will be seen in syslog when the Health Checker for Common Service is activated.

CAHC300I CA Health Checker Infrastructure; Storage at xxxxxxxxx obtained

This message will be issued when;

  1. The Common Services  Health Checker module is called by the first Broadcom product requiring it.

  2. CAS9 (EXEC PGM=CAIRIM) is run with the following CARIMPRM statement
    PRODUCT(CAIRIM) VERSION(S910) INIT(S910INIT)
