The CA Health Checker Common Service has been installed and the load library containing the associated modules has been added to the system linklist. How can it be determined that the CA Health Checker Common Service has been activated on the system?

Solution:

The following message will be seen in syslog when CA Health Checker Common Service is activated.

CAHC300I CA Health Checker Infrastructure; Storage at xxxxxxxxx obtained

This message will be issued when;

  1. CA Health Checker Common Services module is called by the first CA product requiring it.

  2. CAS9 (EXEC PGM=CAIRIM) is run with the following CARIMPRM statement (if CAIRIM solution RO05818 is applied)
    PRODUCT(CAIRIM) VERSION(S910) INIT(S910INIT)
