Issue/Introduction

Description:

When attempting to replace a Role or Resource on a task assignment, Clarity generates the following error message:

PRJ-07502: You do not have sufficient rights to view a task you are not assigned to

This is a misleading error message because the replacement is accomplished. The error message is generated because the application is not building the URL correctly to return to the previous page.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Login to Clarity
  2. Navigate to a Project > Tasks > Assignments
  3. Select a Role or Resource and click 'Replace' button
  4. Select a new Resource and save
Expected: Return to the Task Assignment page
Actual: PRJ-07502 error message is generated

Solution:

WORKAROUND:
If you examine the URL it will be missing the last part that provides the internal project id number. The URL should have '&projectID=5000000' at the end. The end-user can navigate away and back to the Task Assignments page and the resource has been assigned as expected.

STATUS/RESOLUTION:
Resolved in Clarity 12.0.4
