eHealth only sends traps 3 to 5 minutes after user has cleared the trap (based on the attached captured trap). Does this means that eHealth only send trap in a multiple of polling interval? Or eHealth should send a trap send a trap immediately to HP open view right after the user clears an alarm from LE ( for this case).
The LexEngine updates the database after every poll interval with alarm that have changed (i.e. raise or clear). After the update, a message is sent to the Notifier indication which alarms have changed and the Notifier sends out the traps, emails, etc. Yes there can be a delay between a manual clear and when a trap or email is sent. This is the way the product is architected
