Updating the nES publisher in Project Author when running Vista (Legacy KB ID CNC TS30049 )

Issue/Introduction

In order to update the nES publisher in Project Author when running Vista, you have to right click on the Project Author desktop icon, choose Run as administrator, enter your credentials, and then perform the update.

Causes of this problem:
Since Vista has additional security restrictions on file copy operations, you will experience the following error when trying to update the DLLs:

"The new version of the publisher files could not be installed.  Please log in with a user with a sufficient level of access, or contact or your netViz Enterprise administrator. "
