Issue/Introduction

By design nhPopulateGroup or nhGroup can only create a new group locally. nhPopulateGroup or nhGroup can add elements to a remote group provide the group has already existed on the remote system. In this case, when specifying the group name to which you want to add elements, you must include both the group name and the cluster member ID of the remote system.

If you try to add elements to a non-existing remote group by specifying the group name and the cluster member ID of the remote system, the group will be created locally.

To determine the cluster member ID, use the nhListClusterMembers command with the -host <hostname> argument.
