Can't cancel job because of ARF error status E-ARFERR

Issue/Introduction

Job is in the REQUEST queue with the following status: E-ARFERR and the job can't be canceled. How do you cancel this job?

Resolution

When a job is in ARF error status (E-ARFERR):

1. First purge ARF from the job using the CA 7 command:
   
   ARFP,JOB=####  (where #### is the  CA 7 job number)
   
   
2. You should see message:
   
   SPOF-00  JOB 0547 ARF REQUIREMENT PURGED.
   
   
3. Now you should be able to cancel the job.
