Issue/Introduction

Description:

You are currently running CA Workload Automation EE Master, Proxy, Shadow and Workstation Server STC. What's the correct order in which to start them after IPL?

Solution:

Here is the recommended order:

  • Tracking CA Workload Autoamtion EE system (like proxies) should be started first to avoid any loss of tracking data.

  • Master should be started BEFORE Shadow; otherwise Shadow will act as Master.

  • Workstation Server STC should be started AFTER related CA Workload Automation EE system is up, otherwise it will end.
